Scope & shortlist
A specification sheet, supplier comparison and agreed service scope.
We are a China sourcing agency with a strong track record of supporting Chinese producers and connecting them with major international buyers. We help you find suitable suppliers, coordinate samples and follow through on production and shipment preparation.
01 / WHERE TO LOOK
Our Guangdong base gives us proximity to Greater Bay Area supply chains. Use the cluster as a search starting point, then qualify each factory. A city’s industry strength does not verify a supplier’s capability.
| City | Manufacturing focus | Questions to bring to the factory |
|---|---|---|
| ShenzhenOfficial profile ↗ | Electronics, smart equipment, new energy and robotics. | Ask for the exact model, component list, firmware version, test conditions and available engineering support. |
| DongguanOfficial profile ↗ | Electronics, electrical equipment, garments, footwear and paper products. | Identify which processes happen in-house, which are subcontracted, and who controls tooling and final assembly. |
| FoshanOfficial profile ↗ | Home appliances, machinery, ceramics, metal products and household goods. | For appliances or equipment, specify voltage, duty cycle, installation conditions and spare-parts requirements. |
| GuangzhouOfficial profile ↗ | Automotive, electronics, petrochemicals and equipment manufacturing. | Match the factory to the part or process you need. Distinguish a trading showroom from the production address. |
| ZhongshanOfficial profile ↗ | Lighting, small appliances, hardware, furniture and equipment. | For lighting, define light output, colour temperature, driver, housing finish, installation and packaging. |
| HuizhouOfficial profile ↗ | Electronic information, displays, automotive electronics, energy and equipment. | Trace the actual manufacturing entity and critical components. Confirm batch consistency and test records. |
| JiangmenOfficial profile ↗ | Motorcycles and auto parts, sanitary hardware, packaging and electromechanics. | Specify materials, dimensions, surface finish, fit, corrosion expectations and export packing. |
| ZhuhaiOfficial profile ↗ | Electronics, appliances, precision machinery and printing supplies. | Use measurable acceptance criteria: tolerances, functional tests, compatibility and service requirements. |
| ZhaoqingOfficial profile ↗ | New energy vehicles, advanced equipment and electronic information. | For parts or assemblies, confirm drawing revision, material traceability and change-control procedures. |

02 / BEFORE YOU REQUEST A QUOTE
Send the same brief to every supplier. If an item is unknown, mark it “to be confirmed” rather than leaving room for different assumptions.
Model or drawing revision, intended use and any reference sample.
Material grade, tolerances, colour, finish and critical components.
Trial order, production quantity, reorder expectation and permitted mixed SKUs.
Country, buyer requirements, labelling language and required test evidence.
Unit pack, carton dimensions, shipping marks, barcode and protection needs.
Sample deadline, target shipment date and delivery location.
Currency, named delivery point, payment milestones and quote validity.
Measurable pass/fail criteria, inspection method and defect handling.
03 / SUPPLIER QUALIFICATION
Keep a written supplier file: who produces, where production happens, what was verified and what still needs confirmation.
Compare the legal company name, business licence, quotation, contract and beneficiary account. Clarify whether you are dealing with the manufacturer, an exporter or a trading company.
Request the factory address, a process walkthrough, equipment list and examples of comparable work. Ask which operations and tests are outsourced.
Ask about batch size, current workload, critical process bottlenecks, sample lead time and the assumptions behind the production schedule.
Check that reports relate to the model, manufacturer and version you are buying. Ask the intended market’s qualified adviser or testing partner to confirm the evidence needed.
For custom work, document tooling ownership, revision approval, maintenance, storage and any subcontractor access. Require approval before changing key materials or components.
04 / FROM BRIEF TO HANDOVER
We coordinate the agreed work with suppliers and your chosen inspection or logistics partners. Responsibilities, deliverables and fees are agreed before the project begins.
A specification sheet, supplier comparison and agreed service scope.
A signed reference sample or documented specification, plus recorded changes.
Agreed milestones, open-issue list and inspection arrangements.
Packing details, document checklist and logistics handover agreed with your partners.
Approve the sample, bill of materials, artwork and key tolerances. Define what a defect means for this product.
Review first-off output and critical operations. Record any deviations and approve corrective action before repeating the batch.
Check quantity, function, appearance, labels and packing against the agreed plan. Record findings with dated photos and traceable references.
Retain batch records, inspection findings and spare-parts information. Agree how claims, repairs or replacements will be handled.
