The first version works without an account.
Get Ready China currently provides public guidance and an on-device entry preview. It does not ask visitors to create an account or submit passport scans.
Information entered in the checker
The current checker uses the selected nationality, purpose, planned stay and route in the visitor’s browser to display a preliminary information path. The first version does not store this information in a database.

Paid handbook checkout
Handbook payments are processed by Stripe. When checkout is used, Stripe receives the payment details it needs to process the order. Get Ready China receives a Stripe checkout-session identifier to verify payment and deliver the PDF; this prototype does not store a customer account or payment card.

Non-essential analytics are not enabled in this prototype. If analytics or advertising tools are introduced, consent and opt-out controls will be added where required.
