The two common situations

At a hotel, present the valid travel document and the hotel handles accommodation registration. For a private home or other non-hotel domicile, the foreign visitor or host is generally responsible for registering within 24 hours.

The online service announced in March 2026 is a pilot in specified provincial-level regions. Elsewhere, use the local public-security process.
